Dr. Ryan Toponce grew up always knowing he wanted to pursue a career in health care. It wasn’t until college (when he participated in a medical/dental mission trip to Peru) that he realized he wanted to go into dentistry. After witnessing the positive effects that dentistry could have on people’s lives, he knew it was the right career path for him. While attending dental school, Dr. Toponce was exposed to a wide variety of oral surgery procedures, including bone grafting, dental implant placement, facial trauma treatment, and reconstructive jaw surgery. After observing the significant impact that these procedures had on people firsthand, Dr. Toponce knew he wanted to continue his education and training to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His main focus is on helping patients feel at ease during treatment and making the treatment process as painless and comfortable as possible.
